Did it Snow?
It sure did if you live anywhere East of Willingdon or up in the higher elevations. Outside my home we got more than three inches and the roads were a mess. Not of that was to be seen downtown, yesterday. In fact, it was all brilliant sunshine and blue skies here in Kitsilano. Wow. Whiteout conditions in Burnaby, Coquitlam, and East. Sunshine and sunglasses West. Go figure.

Coquitlam had the most snow, about 20 centimetres, but other areas received up to 10 centimetres, said Gordon. Vancouver, which enjoyed sunny weather, could just as easily have been hit by the storm: “It’s random.”
Instead, the waterfront along Kitsilano Beach was packed Sunday afternoon as people walked their dogs or sat outside on benches, enjoying the weather.
I think it’s terrific (not the slippery roads) that we get to enjoy really two kinds of winters. And I certainly do not miss having to shovel as much as I did when growing up in Ontario. I bet the conditions up on the local peaks were awesome!
