I’m a punctual person. If I’m not 5 minutes early I tend to be over 30 minutes early to any appointment. This time can be spent very productively in quiet thought, prepping a home for a showing, or getting a coffee. Usually getting a coffee.
For the past few days I’ve been spending a lot of time West 16th Ave. between Oak and Cambie attending the numerous showings of unit 207-929 West 16th. Today there’s a showing booked at 10am and have some time to kill so I’m hanging out in my new, favourite, local cafe: The Java Hut.
Located at the corner of 16th and Willow, this cafe serves up a great cup of Latte (iced or hot) and has many other treats for you to tempt you in to forgetting a diet. Most important, to me at least, is the free wifi internet. It’s good to see that in practically any neigbourhood I go to I can find access to the net.
So if you do come to down this way and have some time to kill… head to the Java Hut. You’ll be happy. Soft jazz in the background, rotating art exhibitions, good coffee, free net. I know I’m happy here.
Now it’s time to get to that showing.
