This absolutely brilliant two bedroom two bathroom could be all yours if you act fast. Generally I dislike sentences like that but this truly is a special place which you will come to have a sense of if you take a look at the pictures, video, and floor plan.

Speaking of the floor plan, in an era of function following form rather than form following function you will see that this unit is one of the best designed, most livable floor plans you have seen in a very long time. Both bedrooms, on opposite sides of the living area, have walk through closets to their own full bathrooms. They use space saving pocket doors thereby maximizing the use of space and increasing the flow.

Entering the suite you have a huge storage room on your right where you can put everything away.  Christmas trees, luggage, boxes, skis, snowboards, golf clubs, the world!  (OK, maybe not the world but a globe would fit easily).  There is insuite laundry on your right and then we enter into the living quarters.  The kitchen is an open concept plan looking out to the living and dining area and off to the huge balcony.  It has everything you could want and a whole lot more.  Granite counters, which match the carpet and paint, fridge, stove, dishwasher, garburator, and as a bonus (seriously) a separate pantry.  Combined with the cupboard space you will love cooking or entertaining in this kitchen.  And as we all know, when guests come by they tend to hover near the kitchen (must be all the food and drink) so from here you can command the festivities without feeling separated.  Should you decide to forgo the dining table (though there is plenty of space) the kitchen counter is extended to encourage the use of stools for those informal dining moments.

All the windows are on the East wall facing the lawcourts and providing sunlight at all times of day be it direct in the morning or reflected in the afternoon.  This is not a dark unit by any stretch of the imagination and presented a real challenge to film and take pictures as you may see in the video (all shooting was in the afternoon on a somewhat cloudy day).

The two bedrooms, as mentioned before, are on opposite sides of the unit giving you some privacy.  Both have walk through closets to full bathrooms.  One of the bathrooms also has a swing door to the main area so would be ideal for guests to use.  Both bedrooms also look out onto the balcony.

And have I mentioned how big this balcony is?  275 Sq.ft., approximately, running the entire width of the unit.  Seriously.  Look at the pictures.  How many people do you know in the city with BBQ’s that big?  Then you get to have a full patio set outside as well.  And if it’s raining?  No worries!  The fifth floor above you has a huge overhang which the floors below do not get the benefit of.  I am told by the sellers that this balcony does not get wet.  You can BBQ year round.

This 2005 completed concrete building has everything you could possibly want either within it or within a short walk. On the ground floor in the retail shops you have the best Earls lounge in the city, the best pizza at Lombardos, the best cinema at Scotiabank Plaza (formerly Paramount), and Starbucks or Tim Hortons (I’m a Timmys Double Double guy if I can’t find an Illy cafe, myself).  Across the street is the best supermarket in the downtown core, IGA.  The best hotdogs are just a block away at Japadog (hey, if Macleans Magazine devotes an article to a hotdog stand, you know they are good).  Everything else is within walking distance be it Japanese, Korean, or pub fare.  The law courts, designed by the esteemed Arthur Erickson are just across the street and Robson St.’s famous shopping is just a couple of blocks away.  There’s a lot to brag about here and a lot of “Bests” which are not just my opinion but those of the readers of the Georgia Straight newspaper.
