2010 Olympics Video by VANOC
This is a great video produced by VANOC (the Vancouver Olympic Committee) to promote the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. It is pure brilliance and those who directed it deserve an award. There is not a single element missing from the whole production. It starts off with montages of Vancouver and slowly starts splicing in Olympic material. The scenes of Vancouver are breathtaking. Truly we are fortunate to live in such a naturally gorgeous part of the world. But the city would not be complete without the tremendous people who bring it to life and this video leaves no stone unturned in highligting the wealth of culture we often take for granted (It’s so easy to do that, isn’t it?). As the video goes on excitement builds and emotion runs higher. It gets more Olympic and celebratory of what we are about to host and very, very few people truly understand really just how incredible it will be for the city and those who get to take part. Excitement is building but I still expect the event itself to blow away my expectations.
Vancouver, BC

excellent indeed! definitely an exciting event for vancouver. question remains…will the average vancouver resident have an opportunity to buy a ticket to one of the main events? or be able to afford it? what will the city be like? Canadian Navy in False Creek? High security no doubt. How amny people are we expecting? will the roads be gridlock? rent out your property for a killing and go to hawaii?
