Konami Code on Burrard Bridge, originally uploaded by agentwill.

This is an image only a video games lover could appreciate. Not that I am
much of a games player these days but we do have a huge community here in
the city that not only plays but makes some of the world’s leading games.
So as a tribute to all you players I am passing on a sighting I had of the
Konami Code someone scrawled on the Burrard Bridge. For those who don’t
know or remember, the Konami Code of Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B
A was what you entered to get into the cheat mode of many games first
appearing in the old Nintendo Game "Contra" from 1986. It continues today
in many games and can even be used on some websites as seen here:
